Responsibilities

ROLE SUMMARY

We are seeking experienced and enthusiastic Lecturers to join our academic team to deliver on our BSc (Hons) Sports Therapy and MSc Sports Rehabilitation Therapy programmes. The successful candidate will bring both practical and academic expertise, contributing to our learner-centred, research-informed teaching strategy.
This role includes delivery across both full-time weekday and blended weekend formats. We welcome applications from professionals seeking fixed-term opportunities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deliver high-quality teaching and assessment at undergraduate and postgraduate levels through lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions.
  • Design and grade assessments in line with university and institutional standards, including first and second marking.
  • Provide timely and constructive feedback to students to support academic development.
  • Facilitate online learner engagement via our Virtual Learning Environment (VLE), including discussion boards and module updates.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date module content, incorporating contemporary developments in the field.
  • Respond promptly to student queries related to your modules.
  • Contribute to curriculum development, academic quality assurance processes, and programme review.
  • Support student retention and progression through active engagement and academic mentoring.
  • Participate in academic meetings, committees, and continuous professional development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching quality and uphold accreditation standards.
