DESCRIPTION/JOB SUMMARY

Lindahl Reed is hiring a Program Analyst to support the Department of Energy’s (DOE) Advanced Materials and Manufacturing Technologies Office (AMMTO). This position serves as a LEEP program Analyst in the Department of Energy’s (DOE) Advanced Materials and Manufacturing Technologies Office. AMMTO’s mission is to support a globally dominant U.S. manufacturing and industrial base for a resilient energy system and secure supply chain. The position will Support the Advanced Materials & Manufacturing Technologies Office (AMMTO)’s Lab Embedded Entrepreneurship Program (LEEP) team with activities including, but not limited to, strategic planning, analysis, technical advising, quick turn responses to senior leadership and Congress, RD&D program support, and R&D Consortia program support.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Familiar with Advanced Materials and Manufacturing programs and technologies specifically LEEP portfolio (refer EERE/AMMTO programs website)
  • Master’s degree or higher with 5+ years of experience or a bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of experience.
  • Experience in supporting Entrepreneurship Programs.
  • Technical background and knowledge with technology scale-up, supply chain analysis, and/or energy efficiency strategies across AMMTO portfolio of operations.
  • Proven analytical and written communication skills on highly technical subjects, including distilling complex content for strategic presentations and publications.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; advanced analytical and Excel skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to excel working on self-managed tasks and as part of a highly dynamic collaborative team.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Experience in facilitating discussions among diverse stakeholders to identify opportunity areas and solutions to challenges.
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a security or clearance badge.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • This position is located in Washington DC and is a Hybrid Work Arrangement.
  • Experience working or collaborating with DOE or national laboratories
  • Strong interpersonal communication and team working skills.
  • Strong ability/interest in making connections and building collaborations.
  • Workshop moderation skills would be a big plus.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and contribute to technical communications (reports, talking points, questions for response, white papers, fact sheets, research summaries, briefings) on subjects related to LEEP.
  • Participate, network, and help coordinate stakeholder engagements, workshops and roundtables, and discussion with other experts in LEEP- related fields supported by AMMTO various portfolios.
  • Conduct technical merit review for RD&D and Consortia concept papers and proposals.
  • Provide technical support and documentation for RD&D and Consortia program management activities.
  • Work closely with EERE AMMTO program managers and staff in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Provide connectivity to other technical areas and cross-cutting programs through activities such as tracking of activities, identifying synergies, and organizing meetings.
  • Support analysis related to LEEP program and related technical areas and markets.
  • Diligent and responsive.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
