Description:

Verbit is looking for a Legal Account Executive for driving business growth, specifically identifying, targeting and securing new clients in the legal industry. The role involves understanding legal processes, offering tailored solutions and building strong relationships with law firms and court reporting agencies. The successful candidate will be a seasoned sales professional with deep understanding of legal services and a strong communication skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years of experience in Business, Law or related field sales with a strong focus on legal or professional services industry processes and regulations.
  • Proven success in securing contracts and achieving and exceeding sales targets. A network of contacts within the legal industry is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence the appropriate stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Communications or related field.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify and develop new business opportunities in legal markets, research potential clients and competitors.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy, collaborating with internal teams to secure new legal contracts. Analyze legal industry trends to identify revenue streams.
  • Proposal Submissions: Lead the submission of RFP’s and proposals, working closely with the legal and operations teams.
  • Revenue Growth: Achieve and exceed sales targets by identifying new opportunities and expanding existing contracts.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the product development teams and marketing teams to tailor our services to meet specific needs ensuring a competitive edge in the marketplace.
  • Industry Networking: Attend legal conferences, events and forums to network and promote Verbit services. Keeping in line with industry trends and innovations.
