Description

In collaboration with Cardiff & Vale College, we’re looking for a Legal Apprentice to support our team with document preparation, admin tasks, and client communications while gaining hands-on experience in a professional legal setting. During your time with us, you’ll also gain your Level 3 Diploma in Business Administration.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out routine administrative tasks such as photocopying, scanning, printing, and filing documents.
  • Open, close, archive, and maintain client files in line with firm procedures and compliance requirements.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing post, including logging, distributing, and scanning documents to case files.
  • Support fee earners by managing diaries, booking appointments, and scheduling meetings.
  • Conduct basic property searches and assist with reviewing results under supervision.
  • Prepare contract packs and help collate documents required for exchange and completion.
  • Update internal systems and databases with key dates, milestones, and client information.
  • Liaise with clients, estate agents, solicitors, and other third parties to support file progression.
  • Assist with billing processes, including drafting fee notes and tracking disbursements.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection policies at all times.
  • Any other duties as directed by the Supervisor.
