LEGAL ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT Clark Hill PLC seeks an experienced full-time Legal Administrative Assistant in its Philadelphia Office. A minimum of 3 to 5 years of Litigation & Corporate experience and the ability to work in a team environment is required. Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced legal practice is preferred. This position reports to the Office Manager, as well as to assigned attorneys, and is responsible for, among other activities, (i) providing the requisite legal secretarial and administrative support/clerical needs of assigned attorneys; (ii) preparing letters, memos, and other documentation, as required; (iii) entering client information into the system to run conflict checks for new clients, as well as preparation of supporting documentation such as engagement letters; (iv) preparing and filing pleadings with the appropriate court system and docketing dates into a central docketing system, as needed; (v) making travel arrangements and preparing expense reimbursement documentation; (vi) answering the phones of assigned attorneys; and (vii) entering attorney time. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in legal administrative support and be proficient in electronic filing procedures within Philadelphia and surrounding counties as well as PACER / US District Courts. While this position assists attorneys in the Litigation & Corporate practice areas, the successful candidate must be willing and able to help attorneys, legal assistants, and others in other areas. The successful candidate will have excellent computer skills utilizing all aspects of Office 365 and will have excellent attention to detail with superb proofreading skills. Candidates must be able to prioritize and manage a high-volume and diverse workload and thus must be able to handle multiple tasks at one time with exceptional organizational skills. A team player, the LAA must be able to absorb information quickly and adapt to change. Sound judgment and business acumen when interacting with clients, potential clients, guests, coworkers, and other is a must. Certified Legal Secretary designation is a plus. The salary range at the time of posting is $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 annually, based upon a full-time work schedule. Actual compensation will be influenced by various factors, including but not limited to employee qualifications, relevant experience, skill sets, training, internal equity, and market data. This position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
