This role is essential to maintaining the efficiency of our legal operations, including document preparation, case coordination, contract reviews, and direct support for active litigation or compliance matters. The ideal candidate will be proactive, resourceful, and thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism. Key Responsibilities Provide administrative support to the General Counsel to optimize workflow and daily operations Manage scheduling, phone communications, certified mailings, and occasional postal runs Draft, revise, and format legal documents including notices, contracts, and internal memos Assist in legal case management involving third-party liability claims, subpoenas, and contract compliance tracking Conduct preliminary review of third-party contracts and identify areas of concern for General Counsel review Coordinate interviews with clients or witnesses and prepare summaries of their statements Organize and maintain physical and digital files related to court filings, contracts, and correspondence Schedule court dates, meetings, and maintain accurate legal calendars Uphold strict confidentiality in handling sensitive and proprietary information Perform other duties or projects as assigned by General Counsel Required Qualifications Proven experience as a Legal Assistant Strong knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and document formatting Familiarity with federal and state court systems and filing protocols Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) Excellent business writing, time management, and organizational skills Ability to multitask and manage priorities under pressure High attention to detail and accuracy Qualifications Required Qualifications Proven experience as a Legal Assistant Strong knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and document formatting Familiarity with federal and state court systems and filing protocols Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) Excellent business writing, time management, and organizational skills Ability to multitask and manage priorities under pressure High attention to detail and accuracy Preferred Qualifications Experience handling contracts, subpoenas, or insurance-related legal matters Experience supporting in-house counsel or corporate legal departments Work Environment & Culture This role is based out of our corporate office in Flowery Branch, GA A laptop will be provided for work use Occasional evening or weekend work may be required based on legal deadlines Must be comfortable in an office setting where dogs are frequently present.
