Dinsmore is seeking a Legal Administrative Assistant at our Tampa, FL location who will support multiple attorneys/paralegals in connection with Commercial Litigation law.

Responsibilities

  • The ideal Commercial Litigation Assistant candidate should have experience in the areas of calendaring deadlines, understanding of State and Federal court rules and procedures, e-filing in State and Federal courts, ECF and Pacer, drafting correspondence, editing and filing pleadings with State and Federal courts, scheduling depositions, file maintenance, travel arrangements, expense reports, time entry, review and editing of pre-bills, and maintaining attorney calendars.

Requirements

  • Solid work history including 3 recent years providing legal administrative support
  • Experience in Commercial Litigation a must
  • Excellent word processing skills and intermediate-level use of Microsoft Suite, .pdf editing software, and related legal software, including electronic document management systems (iManage)
  • Familiarity with basic online resources
  • Excellent writing, grammar, proofreading skills, and meticulous attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and time management skills and ability to multi-task
  • Success as a positive team player, as well as an independent worker
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to review and communicate case status and deadlines to attorney/paralegals and effectively report to several professionals
