Although a legal assistant with law firm experience is preferred, our firm is willing to train the right candidate with little or no law firm experience. Responsibilities
  • Coordinating appointments with lawyers and clients;
  • Answering basic inquiries by phone;
  • Greeting clients at the front desk;
  • Maintaining the online and hardcopy filing system and bring forward system;
  • Compiling and organising legal documents, indexes and lists;
  • Liaising with the court registry regarding court dates and court files;
  • Provide administrative support such as assembling binders for court, answering phones, making travel arrangements and photocopying;
  • Assist the lawyer with billing;
  • Other administrative items as requested by the management team.
