Winright Law is seeking a full-time Legal Administrative Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in kickstarting their legal career, even with little to no prior experience. In addition to handling prospective client inquiries, this position will teach you the inner workings of a law firm while encouraging you to build your knowledge and experience in the legal field.

Winright Law is a mid-sized firm inclusive of a growing team of lawyers, legal assistants, marketing and support staff. We practice business, real estate, and estate planning law.
We do not work in a traditional law setting. Responsibilities
  • Initial Inquiries: Handling client inquiries through emails and phone calls, including recording information and concerns, informing clients of our legal fees and process, and maintaining communication throughout preliminary stages of the inquiry.
  • Record-Keeping: Tracking and updating information on client inquiries to ensure they are handled in a timely manner.
  • Drafting Administrative Documents: Assisting with the drafting of retainer agreements and invoices, per the request of lawyers, to finalize the final stages of the client inquiry process.
  • Front Desk and Reception Duties: Ensuring smooth office operations by managing general administrative duties, including answering and directing phone calls, relaying messages, and opening client files.
  • Collaboration: Working closely with the Practice Manager and senior management to improve workflows and meet client inquiry and retention goals.
  • Software Proficiency: Learning and utilizing general (e.g. Microsoft Office, Google Suite) and industry-specific software (e.g. Soluno).
