ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience as a legal assistant, paralegal, or in a similar administrative role within a law firm preferable but not essential.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage a busy caseload and prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Proficient in the use of case management systems and Microsoft Office applications.

DESIRABLE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Experience in personal injury or military claims.
  • Knowledge of the Armed Forces Compensation Scheme and/or civil claims process for hearing loss.
  • Understanding of medical terminology relevant to hearing loss claims.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths.
  • Legal Secretarial or Paralegal qualification (desirable but not essential).
