As a Legal Counsel, your role enables you to work across any legal situation that may be encountered related to the development, publishing and marketing of videogames. The legal counsel will report to the Legal Director, Privacy & Commercial, and will closely collaborate with the business teams at Behaviour. If you are adaptable and happy to work in a dynamic, team-oriented environment, where the tasks are varied and changeable, this position could be for you.

Responsibilities
  • Review, draft, and negotiate various contractual agreements (such as service agreements, software license agreements, data processing agreements, etc.).
  • Provide legal advice to production, marketing, and administrative teams on legal matters that may impact their activities, including commercial law, intellectual property, privacy, and contracts.
  • Advise the company on compliance with existing and emerging privacy and technology laws, and maintain up-to-date data records.
  • Draft legal documents required for websites and games (e.g., End User License Agreements, Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policies).
  • Participate in special projects and perform other related tasks as needed.
