Context We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Legal Advisor to join our team in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will provide expert legal guidance and support to our organization, ensuring compliance with local and international laws while protecting our interests. Missions/Main Duties Offer comprehensive legal advice on various corporate matters, including contracts, compliance, and risk management Draft, review, and negotiate complex legal documents and agreements Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support decision-making processes Represent the organization in legal proceedings and negotiations Ensure compliance with Saudi Arabian laws, regulations, and Islamic law (Sharia) Collaborate with internal departments to develop and implement legal strategies Stay up-to-date with changes in legislation and regulations affecting the organization Provide training and guidance to staff on legal matters and compliance issues Manage external legal counsel when necessary Profile/Skills xperience Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB or equivalent); Master's degree in Law (LLM) preferred Valid license to practice law in Saudi Arabia Minimum of 14 years of experience in legal practice, preferably in corporate law Strong knowledge of Saudi Arabian legal system, regulations, and Islamic law (Sharia) Familiarity with international business law and practices Excellent legal research and writing skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Outstanding verbal and written communication skills Proficiency in legal software and databases Proven negotiation and conflict resolution skills Fluency in Arabic and English (both written and spoken) Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Systra is an equal opportunities company; this position is open to all applicants.
