Based in the Basingstoke office, you’ll combine home and office working. There will be some requirements to travel to our offices as and when required, so you should be happy to travel

Responsibilities

THE ROLE:

Reporting into our Legal Counsel and Senior Legal Counsel, you’ll work in the Development & Sales Legal Team to undertake New Build Shared Ownership Plot Sale transactions. This is a team that focuses on the disposals of existing properties, Shared Ownership and Open Market new build properties.
You will be responsible for a case load of Shared Ownership Plot Sale Conveyancing Transactions and assist the wider team ensuring that our affordable housing customers have a seamless experience during their Shared Ownership Plot purchase from SNG Homes.

YOUR MAIN DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Preparing and issuing documents from precedent formats such as contracts, transfers and shared ownership leases.
  • Liaising with third parties such as buyers’ solicitors and estate agents in order to progress sale transactions.
  • Obtaining updates to update our Sales and Development Teams.
  • Approving mortgages
  • Reviewing draft conveyance plans for compliance with the Land Registry’s Practice Guide.
  • Dealing with or referring enquiries to Senior members of the team for comment.
  • Administrative activities relating to conveyancing transactions and general team administration and project driven activities and general administration.
