Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Legal and Client Support Officer provides a range of clerical and administrative services including but not limited to, preparing correspondence, liaising with the various stakeholders, Government Departments and the general public and providing basic referral information services to clients to support the effective and efficient operation of legal services within Legal Aid NSW
This role offers a lot of variety, no single day will be the same, you will work with multiple stakeholders and a diverse range of business units to deliver the array of administrative services.

THE ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS ROLE

You must:

  • be willing to do a Criminal Record Check and/ or Working with Children Check (for regional offices and some specialist teams)
  • hold Australian or NZ citizenship, Australian Permanent Residency (for ongoing vacancies) or a valid visa to work in Australia (for temporary vacancies)
