JOB DESCRIPTION
Serve as a trusted advisor on a range of legal and regulatory issues and guide stakeholders on how those legal requirements are internally documented and maintained.
The Legal Department at JPMorgan Chase & Co. manages legal and other risks, advises on products and services, interprets laws and regulations that impact the firm, and advises the firm on other matters.
As a Legal and Regulatory Inventory Management Assistant General Counsel/Senior Counsel within the Office of Legal Obligations, you will play a crucial role in assisting the Legal Department in documenting JPMorgan Chase’s significant legal obligations and monitoring related legal and regulatory changes. You will be part of a global, firmwide program tasked with developing and implementing a sustainable infrastructure and process that documents JPMorgan Chase’s obligations arising from material laws, regulations, and rules, and links these obligations to relevant policies, procedures, or other compliance-supporting documentation. As a member of a global team of lawyers, project managers, and other professionals with a strong regulatory awareness and understanding of the risks of non-compliance, you will leverage your robust analytical, communication, and collaborative skills to advise other members of the Legal Department, as well as our compliance, controls, and business partners on a wide range of matters in a dynamic environment. If you are intellectually curious and passionate about promoting solutions, you could be an excellent fit for our team.
