Responsibilities:
- Represent Allianz at settlement conferences and significantly contribute to the achievement of better than industry claim outcomes
- Develop and implement strategies which facilitate early and effective settlement negotiations which results in fair outcomes for all customers
- Apply expert level negotiation practices to settlement processes, and the mentoring provided internally to claims staff
- Support all Long Tail business to accurately assess entitlement and risk, working with individuals and teams to advise on and facilitate effective negotiations
- Proactively provide high quality, customer focused, commercially oriented settlement advice and action
- Provide specialist support and advice on the interpretation and application of technical and legal information to local claims team
