OSB Group are offering a rare opportunity to join our Legal team as a Legal Apprentice. This position will give you fantastic insight and experience working across numerous divisions within the Legal department, giving you a wide spectrum of knowledge across multiple disciplines. You will earn while you learn, completing a Level 3 Paralegal Apprenticeship programme for the first 2 years, with the view to complete an additional 4 years’ study upon completion to ensure you become fully qualified to kick start your career! What you will be doing? On a typical day, you’ll be completing a variety of legal work under supervision relating to Contracts, Savings, Mortgages, Data Protection, Litigation, Corporate and Employment law as required. This includes: Drafting and reviewing basic legal documents and providing advice to business stakeholders. Assisting with instructions to external law firms and our panel arrangements. Assisting with creating and updating templates and how-to/process guides. Helping the Governance team with day-to-day tasks, including supporting committee updates and training activities, and assisting with the preparation of simple monthly reports for internal committees Drafting support documents for business stakeholders, such as court documents for litigation. Supporting with ad hoc business projects. Assisting in arranging team events and social activities. What's in it for you? Good communication skills and a willingness to learn the department from the ground up Determination to learn and develop new skills, with the long-term aim to progress Minimum GSCE’s (Grade 4/ C or above) in Mathematics and English Three A-Levels (or equivalent qualification) equivalent to 120 UCAS points are essential.
