JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a Calendaring Clerk to join our Pasadena office. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, highly organized, and experienced in managing court deadlines and litigation calendars. A successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, be familiar with employment litigation, and ensure that attorneys and staff never miss critical deadlines. Spanish speaker a plus.

Responsibilities
  • Calendar Management: Accurately calculate, enter, and maintain deadlines for state and federal employment litigation matters, including discovery, law and motion, hearings, and trial dates.
  • Rule Compliance: Apply California state and federal rules of court, local rules, and judge-specific procedures to ensure compliance with all deadlines.
  • Deadline Monitoring: Track upcoming deadlines and send reminders to attorneys and paralegals to ensure timely action.
  • Court Coordination: Monitor case dockets, e-filing systems, and court portals for new filings, orders, and scheduling updates.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure accurate calendaring of all litigation events.
  • Documentation: Maintain and update master case calendars, ensuring accuracy and consistency across offices.
  • Process Improvement: Suggest and implement strategies for improving calendaring efficiency and reducing risk of missed deadlines.
  • Support Functions: Provide additional administrative and litigation support as needed to ensure smooth case flow.
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
