Carbone Lawyers is currently seeking a proactive and organised Legal Assistant to join our team. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers an exciting opportunity for career growth within the legal field. As a Legal Assistant at Carbone Lawyers, you will be responsible for providing essential administrative and clerical support to our legal professionals, ensuring the smooth functioning of the department. Your main tasks will include:

  • Assisting with case preparation, including drafting legal documents, correspondence, and court forms
  • Managing and maintaining client files, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of all documentation
  • Communicating with clients, court personnel, and other parties to schedule appointments, hearings, and meetings
  • Organising and updating the department’s database systems and records management
  • Providing general administrative assistance such as answering phone calls, handling incoming mail, and managing office supplies
  • Supporting lawyers with any other ad-hoc tasks as required
