Description We are seeking a Legal Assistant who will be responsible for undertaking a variety of administrative and clerical tasks at the firm. This individual will be responsible for assisting multiple attorneys related to client administration, firm procedures, legal procedures, scheduling, and organization of documentation. Job Responsibilities Assist multiple attorneys within the Litigation and Business departments of the Firm, as well as assist other departments as needed Assist in clerical and administrative duties for attorneys including, but not limited to, typing, pleadings, motions, discovery, correspondence, other legal documents, opening new client files and accounts, and providing overall support to attorneys Produces information by formatting, inputting, editing, retrieving, copying, and transmitting text, data, and graphics Prepare and mail outgoing correspondence Coordinate attorney scheduling and travel activities Responsible for collecting and delivering necessary documents for attorneys Handle confidential information pertaining to both clients and the firm Prepare expense reports and generate revenues by documenting and inputting attorney billable time and reimbursable expenses Provide back-up coverage for other secretaries and a variety of other duties as assigned Requirements Necessary and desirable qualifications include, but are not limited to, the following: Proven experience as legal secretary Ability to work well with individuals on all levels – high level of professionalism Confidentiality is of utmost importance Detail oriented in procedures and production of work Strong organizational, analytical, and clerical skills Strong computer skills including Microsoft Suite, Adobe, and Time & Billing Ability to work with a high degree of independence, discretion, and personal initiative Ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple tasks Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment Ability to work a standard and consistent work schedule Job Type: Full-time Schedule: Monday to Friday Work Location: In person Salary: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year Benefits: 401(k) Profit sharing Disability insurance Flexible spending account Health insurance Health savings account Life insurance Paid time off
