Description Constangy, Brooks, Smith & Prophete LLP seeks a full-time, permanent Legal Assistant for its Fairfax, VA office. This position is based out of Fairfax, VA providing support to the Fairfax team but will additionally remotely support attorneys located in Chicago, IL. Prior experience in civil litigation is necessary, with labor & employment law experience a plus. Candidates must have experience filing with either Virginia or Illinois state courts, and federal filing experience with ECF/PACER. Prior experience working with document management systems like iManage and FileSite is a must. Ideal candidates will be proactive problem solvers and think critically on how to support a litigation-heavy practice.
