Description

We are looking for an experienced and proactive legal assistant to join our excellent conveyancing team working across both our Lymington and Lyndhurst offices.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone, ideally with a good foundation in conveyancing who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys delivering excellent client service.

Responsibilities
  • Assist fee earners in managing the entire conveyancing process, from opening files to post-completion tasks.
  • Serve as a key point of contact, providing updates to clients, estate agents, and other parties throughout the transaction.
  • Prepare essential legal documents such as contracts, transfer deeds, and financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal requirements.
  • Conduct thorough title searches to verify legal ownership and identify any issues that may affect the transaction.
  • Manage communications with the Land Registry, ensuring all necessary documents are correctly filed and registrations are completed post-transaction.
  • Prepare and process financial documents, including invoices, statements, and managing financial aspects related to property transactions.
  • Maintain accurate records and case files, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and firm procedures.
