Description

The Legal Assistant will provide comprehensive legal and administrative support to our lawyers in corporate transactions and real estate matters. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and eager to grow their skills in a fast-paced law office environment.

Responsibilities

  • review and draft certain documents
  • Conduct searches, including corporate registry, PPSA
  • Coordinate transaction closings, overseeing the process from document readiness to liaising law offices
  • Manage and maintain client files and office organization, including closing binders, secure filing systems (digital and physical), and up-to-date records.
  • Maintain calendars, schedule appointments, and manage critical deadlines, including client meetings, lender confirmations, and internal milestones.
  • Communicate and liaise with clients, counsel, lenders,title insurers, and external parties, ensuring timely updates
  • Provide general administrative support

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $37,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
