Our ambition The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced, reliable and proactive Legal Assistant / Legal Secretary to join our Telecommunications, Media & Technology (TMT) team on a 12‑month maximum term contract. 🕘 Working hours: 9am – 5:15pm, Monday to Friday. 🏠 Work from home up to 2 days per week, depending on the needs of the practice group. You will provide high‑level support to Partner Katherine Gregor and a team of senior lawyers, playing a key role in the smooth management of matters. The role suits someone who works collaboratively across teams, exercises sound judgment in billing, reporting and business development activities, and knows when to proactively escalate issues to keep matters running efficiently. What your day might look like Managing matters, time recording, billing and cost reporting with accuracy and attention to detail. Supporting business development initiatives, client events and profile‑raising activities. Managing partner and team calendars and inboxes, anticipating priorities and ensuring timely follow‑up. Coordinating internal and external meetings, proactively adjusting arrangements as priorities evolve. Preparing, editing and managing documents using Microsoft Office and iManage. Organising travel and managing expense reconciliation efficiently. Champion technology and AI adoption to enhance efficiency and ways of working. Mentoring and guiding Administrative Assistants, providing day‑to‑day support and knowledge sharing. What you’ll bring Experience in professional services (legal support is a bonus!) Exposure to billing, invoicing and reporting Strong time management and ability to juggle priorities Experience with matter management and mentoring juniors A positive, proactive approach and calm under pressure Passion for helping your team grow client relationships An innovative mindset, curious about AI and emerging technologies.
