Job Title: Legal Assistant - Court Results Job Summary: The Legal Assistant - Court Results supports attorneys and the Legal Department by performing a variety of legal and administrative tasks. This role involves maintaining accurate court records, managing attorney calendars, and assisting with court-related procedures. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, confident, and motivated to learn, with the ability to work effectively under general supervision in a fast-paced environment. Essential Duties: Enter and maintain future court dates in the collections database Record and update court results accurately and promptly Prepare daily, weekly and monthly court calendars for in-house counsel Ensure all legal documents are properly filed with the appropriate county courts Update system records with activities following attorneys' court appearances Send notices and correspondence as required Upload and download pleadings via electronic filing (e-filing) portals Maintain accuracy and completeness of all system data Represent the Legal Department in a professional manner Communicate effectively with circuit clerks and judges' clerks via phone and written correspondence Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Prior experience in an office environment required Proficiency with computers and data entry systems Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent organizational and communication skills Strong work ethic and willingness to learn What We Offer: Blitt and Gaines, P.C. offers a competitive compensation and benefits package, including: Competitive base pay Paid Time Off (PTO) and Paid Holidays Comprehensive health, dental, vision, and life insurance Short-Term Disability 401(k) retirement plan Profit sharing Professional growth and advancement opportunities
