Description Job Summary: As part of the CDM team, performs various legal and clerical duties in support of the Attorneys and Legal Department functions. Essential Duties: · Daily reporting to Docketing Manager of number of court dates set, what types of documents are being filed and the court costs forwarded out for each county. · Maintains the court calendar for assigned counties and accurate entry of future court dates in the collection's database. · Ensures that the filing fees are current for the assigned counties and are billed correctly · Represent Legal Department in a professional capacity. Requires effective interaction with the circuit clerks and judge’s clerks, both on the telephone and in writing. · Prepare daily, weekly and monthly court calendars for in-house counsel and ensure that all court dates are maximized according to specific county rules. · Completes assigned tasks within the timelines required by client and department standards. Education and Experience: · Experience in office environment preferable. · High School Diploma, College degree or certification in Paralegal Studies.
