We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with a strong client service focus who can work both independently and as part of a team. In this role, you’ll take ownership of your files while working closely with lawyers and fellow co-workers to deliver exceptional service to our clients.
QUALIFICATIONS AND/OR SKILLS:
· Graduate of a recognized legal assistant program
· At least 2 years of experience working as a litigation legal assistant
· Understanding of BC civil litigation practices and procedures
· Ability to work on a litigation file from start to finish is an asset
· Ability to multitask, prioritize deadlines, and maintain accurate records
· Ability to draft clear and concise legal documents and communicate effectively with clients or other parties
· Experience in personal injury, estates, employment and insurance law is an asset
