POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to support two lawyers in the areas of family law and child protection. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a genuine interest in helping clients through sensitive legal matters.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Diploma or certificate in Legal Administration or equivalent experience
  • Experience in family law and/or child protection law is preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal practice management software
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
  • Compassionate and professional demeanor when dealing with sensitive matters
