THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 0-1 year in a law firm as a receptionist/ assistant is preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Computer and technology literacy is required
  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite, Adobe, and video conferencing platforms such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams
  • Attention to detail, ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Comfortable working both independently and as a team member

Responsibilities
  • Screen and manage incoming calls, mail, faxes
  • Scheduling client meetings and assisting with managing calendars
  • Drafting and formatting legal correspondence
  • Drafting, formatting, and filing court documents and materials
  • Assisting in assembling motion records, books of authorities, appeal and hearing materials
  • General administrative duties, including but not limited to providing general assistance to the lawyers and legal support team, printing, scanning, copying, binding materials, etc. as directed
  • Additional responsibilities as directed
