Description
Position Summary: The Legal Assistant will support the Legal and Compliance Department in managing legal documentation, corporate filings, and regulatory compliance matters. The role includes assisting in legal research, maintaining records, and supporting filings with regulatory authorities including the SECP Key Responsibilities: Assist in preparing and reviewing basic legal documents, agreements, notices, and correspondence Maintain and organize legal records, contracts, and company documentation in both physical and digital formats. Support the legal team in corporate compliance matters and regulatory filings. Assist in preparation and submission of documents through the SECP eServices / Compliance Portal. Coordinate with internal departments for documentation required for regulatory submissions. Assist in drafting legal notices, internal communications, and official letters. Maintain a tracker of regulatory deadlines, SECP filings, and compliance requirements. Qualification & Experience: Education: Minimum Bachelors degree from a recognized university. Experience: Fresh graduate or 0–1 year of relevant experience (internship experience preferred). Basic understanding of Companies Act 2017 and corporate compliance requirements will be an advantage. Skills & Competencies Basic legal drafting and research skills Familiarity with SECP eServices / Compliance Portal Knowledge of corporate filings and regulatory documentation Good written and verbal communication skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage legal records.
