Description Hinman, Howard & Kattell, LLP is seeking an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant to join our team. This full-time position (37.5 hours per week) offers a collaborative work environment, competitive compensation, and a comprehensive benefits package. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in supporting attorneys in a busy litigation practice. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Draft, format, and edit legal documents and correspondence, including pleadings, motions, letters, and memoranda from typed, handwritten, and dictated materials File pleadings and other documents electronically with federal and state courts Maintain and organize litigation files, including indexing pleadings, managing deposition materials, and preparing exhibits Track case deadlines and maintain attorney calendars to ensure timely filings and case management Schedule meetings, depositions, conferences, and other litigation-related events Coordinate attorney travel arrangements when necessary Enter and finalize billable time entries Respond to client and third-party inquiries under attorney direction Provide additional administrative and litigation support as needed Qualifications Minimum 3 years of litigation legal assistant experience or strong computer skills and a desire to learn Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel Experience with electronic court filing systems Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Professional demeanor and commitment to client service Flexibility to work occasional overtime as needed
