Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Transactional Legal Assistant to join our legal team specializing in homeowners’ association (HOA) and community association law. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced legal environment while supporting attorneys with a variety of transactional and administrative tasks.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Draft, proofread, and edit legal correspondence, contracts, and transactional documents.
  • File legal documents accurately and on time with courts and other entities.
  • Maintain attorney calendars, track deadlines, and coordinate meetings and hearings.
  • Serve as a professional point of contact for client communication via phone, email, and in-person.
  • Manage administrative duties, including calendaring, data entry, document management, copying, and filing.
  • Conduct basic legal and property research using online databases and public records.
  • Assist with the preparation and editing of monthly client invoices.
  • Maintain electronic and physical filing systems using case/document management software.
  • Support the team in handling high volumes of transactions and tight deadlines.
