THE EXPERIENCE WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Experience as a Legal Assistant or Paralegal in a plaintiff law firm or assistant in a professional services firm is desirable;
  • Experience working within a Personal Injuries practice group is preferable;
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and interpersonal) with a diverse range of clients including non-English backgrounds;
  • Strong attention to detail;
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills;
  • Ability to work in a high paced environment with competing demands
  • Ability to work in a team; and
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite

Our Personal Injuries team is looking for a Legal Assistant to join us in our Browns Plains office on a full-time, permanent basis. As a Legal Assistant, you will provide quality administrative and legal assistance to our Lawyer.
The successful candidate will be someone who is willing to grow and develop their skills in a busy role. You will use your strong client service skills to support our clients and be in frequent contact with them. Your responsibilities will include answering and managing incoming calls, diary management, file management, preparation of correspondence, court documents and briefs of evidence, and providing day-to-day administrative support.
