About the Opportunity
Our client is looking for a Legal Administrative Assistant to support a busy Private Company Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) practice group. This is a full-time, permanent position ideal for someone who enjoys transactional work, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is ready to take the next step in their legal support career.
About the Position

In this role, you’ll work closely with lawyers and legal professionals to support corporate transactions and maintain daily practice operations. Key responsibilities include:

  • Drafting and formatting legal documents and correspondence
  • Preparing and organizing transaction books
  • Managing legal files and maintaining a bring-forward system
  • Coordinating calendars, emails, and schedules for lawyers
  • Communicating with clients, legal assistants, and paralegals on file progress
  • Performing general administrative tasks as needed

Requirements

  • Legal Administrative Assistant certification
  • 3+ years of experience in a legal administrative role
  • Experience assisting with transactional work is essential
  • Strong proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe, and BC Online
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Proven organizational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $56,000–$70,000 per year (commensurate with experience)
