JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our dynamic legal team. QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience as a Legal Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
  • Strong writing skills with the ability to draft clear and concise legal documents.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Strong clerical skills with attention to detail in filing and document management.
  • Effective phone etiquette and interpersonal skills for client interactions.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous Real Estate or Family Law Experience is an asset.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and organize Real Estate Documents.
  • Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and correspondence, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal standards.
  • Organize and maintain case files, ensuring all documents are properly filed and easily accessible.
  • Assist in project management by tracking deadlines and coordinating schedules for hearings and meetings.
  • Conduct client interviews to gather necessary information for cases while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Provide clerical support, including answering phones with proper etiquette, managing correspondence, and scheduling appointments.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure effective communication and workflow within the office.
