  • IT Proficiency: Experience with case management systems and general office software will be highly beneficial.
Responsibilities

THE ROLE:

You’ll be a key player in assisting the Commercial Property team, primarily acting for homeowners in agreeing deeds of easements with electricity companies. This is a crucial area where your support will make a real difference.

Beyond that, you’ll also get involved in a wider range of property transactions. This includes:

  • Sales and acquisitions
  • Landlord and tenant matters
  • Commercial finance
  • Pension-related property issues

This role offers a fantastic opportunity to gain diverse experience across the commercial property landscape, working on varied and interesting cases!

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Managing Easement Matters: You’ll handle easement cases from start to finish using our case management system, with guidance from a qualified solicitor. This involves processing correspondence, preparing and finalising deeds of easement, arranging signatures, and overseeing completion.
  • Supporting Property Transactions: You’ll assist with various property transactions, including amending documents and deeds, ordering routine property searches, and producing correspondence.
  • Client and Administrative Support: You’ll be a vital point of contact, dealing directly with clients, agents, and lenders. Additionally, you’ll manage administrative tasks like opening new matters, handling incoming communications (post, emails, calls), filing, scanning, and assisting with archiving and document retrieval.
  • General Caseload Assistance: You’ll provide comprehensive support to Fee Earners and Solicitors with their caseloads, undertaking word processing, dictation, and other ad-hoc administrative duties as needed to ensure the smooth operation of the team.
