JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Administrative Assistant to support our team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. This role involves a variety of administrative functions, including data entry, document preparation, and project management, ensuring smooth daily operations.

REQUIREMENTS-

Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Legal Assistant in Real Estate Law
· Hands-on experience with Lawyer Done Deal (LDD) is required
· Solid knowledge of Alberta real estate practices, procedures, and terminology
· Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask under tight deadlines
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
· Professional communication skills – written and verbal
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal practice management systems

Responsibilities
  • · Prepare, review, and manage documentation for residential and commercial real estate transactions
    · Use Lawyer Done Deal (LDD) to handle closings, manage file workflows, and generate transaction documents
    · Coordinate with clients, realtors, lenders, and legal professionals throughout the transaction process
    · Conduct title searches and register documents with appropriate authorities
    · Maintain organized and accurate physical and digital client files
    · Track deadlines and ensure all aspects of transactions are completed on time
    · Provide administrative support to real estate and other practice area lawyers as needed
