We are looking for a meticulous Junior Legal Assistant to join our team in Los Angeles, California. In this role, you will provide essential support to attorneys and legal staff, ensuring the smooth operation of daily legal processes. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment while developing your skills in civil litigation and case management.

• Prepare and submit legal documents, including e-filing and court filings, to meet deadlines accurately.
• Assist in civil litigation processes, including drafting and reviewing discovery documents.
• Handle client and third-party inquiries, providing prompt and thorough responses.
• Organize and maintain case files, ensuring all documents are up-to-date and easily accessible.
• Support attorneys in preparing for hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings.
• Conduct basic research to gather information relevant to ongoing cases.
• Ensure compliance with court procedures and filing requirements.
• Coordinate with external parties such as courts and opposing counsel when necessary.
• At least 1 year of experience in a legal assistant or similar role.
• Proficiency in e-filing and court filing procedures.
• Strong understanding of civil litigation processes and legal terminology.
• Excellent organizational and calendar management skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in document preparation.
• Familiarity with discovery processes and legal documentation.
• Capable of handling sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
