Description

The ideal candidate will have previous relevant experience in a Residential Conveyancing department (knowledge of Commercial would be an advantage), assisting with files from start to finish, including:

  • Opening files on case management system (although training will be given)
  • Carrying out identity checks
  • Carrying out land registry searches
  • Submitting land registry applications
  • Submitting stamp duty and land tax returns
  • Preparing contracts
  • Applying for local searches
  • Preparing financial statements
  • Dealing with completions
  • Have excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
  • Be IT literate, have good keyboard skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Possess good attention to detail
  • Be able to work well in a team, as well as being self-motivated to work independently where required
  • To communicate with clients, estate agents and other third parties in person and on telephone
  • Be flexible with a ‘can-do’ approach, and the willingness and ability to adapt to the needs of the busines
