WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are seeking to hire an immigration legal assistant, at our Toronto office, who will assist with immigration matters, including communicating and screening prospective clients, obtaining clients’ supporting documentation, monitoring applications, forwarding correspondence, administrative tasks, and generally working in conjunction with our marketing manager, administrative staff, and lawyers. The legal assistant will be versatile, diligent with a proven ability to work well under pressure and adhere to deadlines. Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Correspond with clients and other stakeholders;
- Draft and file legal documents and application forms;
- Monitor applications;
- Forward correspondence to relevant parties;
- Working in conjunction with marketing manager, administrative staff, and lawyers;
- Perform administrative tasks; and
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
- No less than two (2) years of related experience;
- Fluent in English;
- Ability to work in fast paced environment and adhere to deadlines;
- Strong organizational and communication skills;
- Ability to work in a team;
- Excellent problem-solving skills;
- Proactive attitude; and
- Prior experience is preferred but we are open to training.

Pay: $45,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
