Staffmax is hiring on behalf of The Traffic Ticket Specialists. Our mission revolves around providing exceptional service to our clients. As a Legal Assistant, you will be at the forefront of this mission—representing clients in court, preparing cases, and guiding them through their legal journey from the very first call to case resolution.
We are seeking a talented professional with a strong grasp of the law, excellent litigation skills, and a passion for advocacy. While experience is preferred, full training will be provided for motivated candidates who are ready to learn and grow into the role.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 1 year of experience preferred, ideally in traffic law or Provincial Offences court (training available for the right candidate).
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to engage clients, colleagues, and court staff effectively.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and adaptable.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of the branch operations.
• Language: English (required).
• Work Eligibility: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.

• Represent clients in court with skill, professionalism, and confidence.
• Research, draft motions, and prepare legal documents to build strong cases.
• Serve as the initial point of contact for clients, providing clear communication and guidance throughout the legal process.
• Manage complex cases with diligence, organization, and attention to detail.
• Work independently to manage the branch while collaborating effectively with the wider team.
• Maintain professionalism, integrity, and adherence to established procedures at all times.
