McNees, Wallace & Nurick is actively seeking an experienced Legal Billing Coordinator to join our growing client billing department. At McNees, we believe our people are our greatest asset. The successful candidate will have prior legal or professional service organization experience. The firm is flexible on the location for this position, including a fully remote schedule with the ability to occasionally travel to a McNees office location for meetings/trainings. Responsibilities: Accurately generate client invoices (both paper and electronic) in high volume Assess and implement complex billing processes based on client requirements Ensure billing processes are in compliance with established firm policies and procedures Resolve invoicing issues after submission to clients, including (but not limited to) payment issues and monitoring client e-billing systems Collaborate with other team members and administrative departments Requirements: Strong interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication skills Self-motivation and flexibility to meet the changing demands of the position Ability to work independently while organizing and prioritizing numerous projects/tasks with competing deadlines Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel Knowledge of Aderant or similar systems is preferred Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with the appropriate discretion E-billing experience is preferred Compensation & Benefits Our total rewards package includes competitive pay, comprehensive health coverage, and bonus opportunities (based on firm and individual performance).
