We are seeking a meticulous and organised Legal Cashier to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing financial transactions within a legal environment, ensuring compliance with legal accounting standards. The role will also include secretarial duties. This position requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Maintain financial records using accounting software, ensuring all entries are correct and up to date.
  • Liaise with clients and internal departments regarding financial queries and transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with legal regulations and internal policies related to financial transactions.
  • Provide administrative support to legal staff, including document preparation, filing, and data entry
  • Assist with file management, including opening and closing client files
  • Handle confidential information with discretion
