Serving more than 2,600 clients statewide, we’re proud to be the state’s largest tax collector. We are currently seeking a Legal Clerk to join our team in our Bangor, PA office. WHAT YOU'LL DO: As a Legal Clerk, you will act as an integral part of the Delinquent Department’s team. To be successful in the role, you must be a detail-oriented, organized professional with strong research and communication skills who can manage legal processes, handle sensitive account issues, and stay accurate under pressure. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Manage inquiries related to delinquent and legal accounts via phone, email, and fax Research, update, and maintain accounts involving bankruptcy, liens, and legal actions Prepare and file legal documents with courts and government offices Monitor legal processes (e.g., sheriff sales, complaints) and ensure accurate recordkeeping Respond to account issues, complaints, and perform routine account maintenance Travel to and attend magistrate hearings on behalf of the company DETAILS + WORK ENVIRONMENT: Full-time schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm Location: On-site in our Bangor, PA office Initial training: ~4-6 months fully in office Flexibility: After initial training, this role transitions to a hybrid schedule, with at least 2–3 days in the office each week and up to 5 days, depending on work load.
