Description This position is in-office during training, with the possibility of transitioning to a hybrid or fully remote schedule based on performance and firm policy. We work in a paperless environment, which uses minimal physical paper and instead uses primarily digital documents. We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Legal Clerk to process our E-Documents (E-Docs) and Fax Splitter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient handling and management of incoming E-Documents sent via emails, and incoming electric faxes maintaining the organization of our electronic filing systems. This role is critical in ensuring that all legal documents are properly sorted, distributed, and accessible to the legal team. Requirements Key Responsibilities: Document Management: Save and split emails sent to E-Docs to the correct case file. Save and split incoming faxes to the correct case file. Ensure all documents are accurately labeled and categorized for easy retrieval. Upload the legal documents, ensuring they are properly categorized to our case management system. Calendar items received by E-Docs and/or Faxes into the correct case file in our case management system. Administrative Support: Provide general clerical support as needed. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; additional legal or administrative training is a plus. Proven experience in a legal or clerical role, particularly in document management and filing. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe and electronic document management systems. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. · Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. · Proficiency in using legal software and document management systems. · Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. · Familiarity with legal terminology and processes is a plus.
