The role is based in Hellerup, Denmark. You will report to the Legal & Compliance Director and become part of the Legal & Compliance Team. The Legal & Compliance Team is part of Legal, Compliance & IP headed by our General Counsel.

As Legal & Compliance Counsel, you will:

  • Support further development of our legal compliance programs, including policies and procedures.
  • Advise and train on anti-corruption laws and business ethics requirements, including interactions with government officials, healthcare professionals, and third parties.
  • Manage the Legal & Compliance training & communication program, with support from the Legal & Compliance Team.
  • Manage day-to-day Legal & Compliance monitoring activities, including assurance auditing and third-party due diligence, with support from the Legal & Compliance Team.
  • Support periodic reporting materials to Executive Management and the Board.
  • Support Legal & Compliance investigations as needed.
  • Develop Legal & Compliance contract templates as needed.
  • Provide ad-hoc local legal compliance advice as needed.

Who are you?

As one of the largest pure-play vaccine companies in the world, we need people who are determined to make it happen and have the following qualifications:

  • A law degree with 5+ years of experience in legal compliance, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry but not required.
  • A strong background in anti-corruption law (e.g., FCPA, UKBA, etc.).
  • Proficiency in English and experience working in an international environment.
  • Ability to work both collaboratively and independently, with strong initiative, flexibility, and business judgment.
  • Comfort working with all levels of an organization, setting priorities, and managing multiple demands.
  • Clear communication skills, balancing detail orientation with pragmatic decision-making.
  • Strong relationship-building skills (stakeholder management) and a track record of meeting deadlines.

If you thrive in a dynamic environment with growth opportunities and have the drive to take on these responsibilities, this position may be for you.
