COMPETENCIES AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • A post-secondary diploma in a related legal administration and/or law clerk program or equivalent years of experience
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position
  • Proven track record of client service attributes

Responsibilities
  • Coordinating day-to-day home closing activities, including instructing external Caivan-appointed law firms, communications with customer on specific issues and tracking of weekly transactions.
  • Review and process various home closing documents, such as amendments, extensions assignments.
  • Back office administrative reporting with respect to closing schedules, revenue adjustments, and third-party receivables
  • Administration and management of deposit payments, commission invoice processing and inventory release
  • Maintenance and preparation of reports associated with closing performance and recovery proceedings
  • Monitor and assist with enrollment of homes with Tarion
  • Support the completion of various transaction, including incorporations, organizations, amendments, dissolutions, purchases, sales, and financings
  • Preparing and drafting other ad hoc legal documents as required.
  • Attend various meetings involving other departments to review project reporting and status.
  • Assist with the implementation and enhancement of internal control systems.
  • Other duties within the scope, spirit and purpose of the job as requested by management.
