SASMAR is seeking a knowledgeable and skilled Legal Counsel to join our legal team. As a leading pharmaceutical company specializing in personal care and fertility products such as the Conceive Plus brand, we are committed to ensuring compliance and best practices across our operations, which span multiple regions including Malta, Sydney, Brussels, Hong Kong, Mumbai, London, and Chicago.
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all legal aspects of pricing and contracts, providing legal advice to the management team, and ensuring that our pricing strategies and contracts are in compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Your expertise will contribute significantly to the company’s success and risk management.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the bar and a valid license to practice law.
  • 2-3+ years of legal experience, with a focus on pricing strategies, contracts, or commercial law, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
  • Strong understanding of competition laws, anti-trust regulations, and contract law.
  • Excellent negotiation, drafting, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to provide sound legal advice and manage complex legal issues.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented and organized with strong project management skills.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
Responsibilities
  • Draft, negotiate, and review pricing agreements and contracts with customers, suppliers, and partners.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant competition laws, pricing regulations, and corporate policies.
  • Provide legal advice on pricing strategies, contract interpretations, and commercial arrangements.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support pricing strategies and contract negotiations.
  • Manage disputes related to pricing, contracts, and negotiations, representing the company as necessary.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, sales, and marketing, to develop pricing strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Monitor changes in laws and regulations that may impact pricing and contract management.
  • Educate and train internal stakeholders on legal issues related to pricing and contracts.
  • Support the development of internal processes and templates to streamline contract management.
