Overview As a Legal Counsel in-house at Linesight, (12 month FTC) you will work with highly experienced, culturally diverse, and passionate teams nurturing a strong social dynamic and a shared sense of achievement. The Opportunity In this role you will: Define and lead the contract review process that forms part of Bid Approvals Review existing contracts and identify favorable opportunities for Linesight Review and manage our portfolio of Insurance cover Identify and grow a network of local legal partners to provide support globally Develop and review various commercial contracts and MSA agreements, obtaining local advice as required Manage claims made against the business and the provision of information through any arbitration processes Be an advocate for legal, compliance and risk management best practice, designing and implementing policies and delivering training to the business Remain up-to-date with changes to legislation, rules and regulations that affect the business in our global markets Advise Executive board on legal matters as they arise and put forward clear recommendations for approval We would love to hear from you if you: Are a Qualified Solicitor with experience in commercial contract law related to the construction and professional services industries Are an excellent communicator verbally and in writing Love a dynamic environment with the chance to lead your own priorities and deadlines Have strong problem-solving skills, business acumen and a commercial mindset to create balanced solutions and recommendations Thrive on building strong relationships with your team and clients through a shared purpose and sense of openness and fun #LI-Hybrid #LI-MH1 All interviews are conducted either in person or virtually with video required.
