Accuflex has an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Solicitor (2–6 years PQE) to join a dynamic in-house legal team within the financial services sector. This is a short-term role commencing at the end of August, supporting a busy financial services in-house legal team. It’s ideal for lawyers seeking impactful, BAU commercial work in a collaborative environment.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

• Qualified Solicitor with 2–6 years’ post-qualification experience in commercial contracts.
• Prior experience working in or advising financial services or banking clients.
• Strong commercial awareness and pragmatic approach to legal risk.
• Ability to integrate into a team quickly and deliver effective legal support with minimal supervision.

• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements including technology and supplier contracts.
• Providing practical legal advice on day-to-day commercial legal matters within a consumer finance setting.
• Supporting the wider legal team on operational matters related to credit card and retail banking products.
• Engaging with stakeholders across the business to ensure contracts are aligned with regulatory and commercial priorities.
